On Saturday 1st February Paul, myself and our friends Caroline and Nigel Sanderson went for dinner at the No 3 Restaurant, Royal Terrace. We were able to ask Caroline and Nigel to join us as our guests, thanks to your very kind generosity. It was a bit of a shock to the system for C&N to be out on a Saturday night, they have two small children so I don't think it's happened for a long time! In the afternoon we went to see The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie at the theatre, it was an excellent production. Have you read that book or heard of the book at all?
So from left to right we have Caroline (gravadlax, duck, poached pear in wine) Paul (mussels, yellow fin tuna, sticky toffee pudding) Kirsty (chicken and bacon parfait, pasta con sugo, nice pot of tea) and Nigel (mussels, chicken, creme brulée). We had a lovely bottle of Oz white wine and you were included in the toast. The picture is not very great, but we did have fun!
